So asanka before we start about wso2 and all that. Let's hear a little bit about you and what you're you know background is yeah sure. So I'm coming from application architecture and application engineering background.

And so I'm the chief technology evangelist. So telling the wso to story Edition to that providing strategic Consulting for some of our key customers as well. So that's about myself excellent and and Let's talk a little bit about wso2.

Yeah, so we had a technology company coming from open source Roots mainly focusing on three areas API management integration identity and access management. Those are the key technology areas, and those are three Very big areas exactly. So we treat them as the foundational Technologies.

You required to build Cloud native applications. So as I mentioned like coming from open source, we have the open source offerings. So addition to the open source offering we introduce our sass offering that car that's called.

Asgadio and Courier. So Koryo is mainly focusing on API and integration while asgardio is mainly focusing on identity and access management specifically custom identity and access management site. So that is what we do as wso too and we had a global company.

So we have offices all around the world headquartered in us and we have a large R&D Center Sri Lanka and then some Regional Offices in London South Paulo Sydney Berlin so and so forth. Usual places right? Exactly, but all right.

So let me just get it straight. So the SAS offerings even though they're offered at SAS, which means that usually not free right people to pay for that but they're based on the open source offerings that Wso2 has kind of pioneered developed. Yeah and people can download and run on their own infrastructure.

Yes, exactly. So it is the runtime of the SAS of rings coming from the open source side. And then we are utilizing other open source projects as well as example.

Both SAS platforms are bills on top of kubernetes. So we are heavily utilizing kubernetes there and then many other open source libraries, like one more as a example utilize inside these ass offerings, but the difference is suffering staff platforms. So we have hide the complexity and then bringing more and more user friendly environment for the application developers.

So they can just focus on the application development rather than worry about devops platform engineering those type of low-level technical stuff. So they can just focus on the application development. And use all these open source stuff on top of the platforms that we provide so addition to the the two the three areas that I mentioned earlier.

We introduce something called ballerina a programming language a complete floor programming language. I open source programming language that we are heavily utilizing in our Courier platform as well. So underneath the building blocks are coming from Korea as sorry.

I have a ballerina as well as the application development platform coming from ballerina side as well. So people can write these application development related code using ballerina as example Microsoft Services apis Integrations. Those things can be utilize from Valerie.

And that is how the connection between open source and the SAS coming from these two openings that we offer so ballerina open source programming. Is it used anywhere besides in is a courier? So at wso to how we kind of providing access to ballerina from a platform point of view, it's Courier but a bunch of wso to users and customers they are already using ballerina as a way to do modern integration because the way initially integration works like how middleware these changing with Cloud native concepts with Cloud native Concepts.

What's really happening middleware is disappearing into code and in infrastructure. So the infrastructure part is very clear because that is kubernetes. So the code part is not clear.

That's why we introduce ballerina as a way you embedded all the middleware capabilities inside the language. Now the programmer can just focus on the business logic and then build this applications by using ballerina. So that's yeah now we get okay.

Got a lot of different names projects offerings. I want to make sure our audience understands if they want to find about they want to find out more about wso2. Yeah.

Okay. Corio. Yes.

So even though you should go to tablet so too and then go to the product menu, then you will see as two SAS suffering for you and that's right. Yeah now Open source offerings on wso2. They're not they they support Cloud native kind of stuff.

Yeah, but they're not part of cncf. No, so we have not like contributed them to cncf but we are using a lot of cncf components in our product development as well. But we have a close relationship with cncf on many these projects and we double open source principles.

We might contribute in the future to cncf and then kind of as a project but we are in the process of contributing to existing projects as on Moi and have a better relationship with cncf as well. I love it. Alright, I think we got it all now, we've laid it all out.

It's all sounds good. Any new news from the show here that you guys are talking about. Yeah, so via featuring choreo.

Ascadio and ballerina these three products so ballerina, we did the recent release. So that is a news and then there are new features. We added to ballerina coming from the data side.

We have a nice data mapper and then we have like where you can create entities using ballerina language those features added to the language side. Then choreo. We did a few new features as well.

One thing I mentioned about ballerina as the programming language, but we can't expect everybody to use ballerina. So we introduce something called bring your own container. So you can write these services using any language like go Java kotlin all these are the language and bring your own container inside curio and you can use them inside Korean time.

And another thing we introduce from The Courier. Is the devops sport? So when you sign up for Courier and then develop something we provision all the containers and then use them inside the choreoplatform.

But if you want to configure you are containers and manage your containers in your own preference. We have the devops quarter that you can configure those things as well as you can monitor that so those are like couple of new features that we added to the Courier side, then when it comes to ask audio, so we were mainly focusing on The business to consume a site be to see custom identity and access management and we introduce B to b or business to business customer and identity access management with the latest updates that we did. So with that and organization can have a number of sub organizations kind of a nested or a hierarchyical way that they can organize this organizations inside the main organization.

So that kind of creates new business opportunities for these organization as an example. You can manage your suppliers. You can manage your partners within the same identity and access management system.

So that's a new feature and the major feature that we added to ask God your side. And those are the latest updates that we need from the products point of view. Actually.
