Akka, an open source application framework used for such applications, is one of the more complex and challenging technologies requiring these skills levels. Brad Murdoch, EVP at Lightbend, discusses Kalix, a high-performance microservices and API platform as a service that broadens the accessibility of Akka, making it easier to move to the cloud and innovate incredibly fast with existing development teams.
