Hi again, everyone here the headlines for February 6th. First up the big Tech Giants have reported earnings for the last quarter and several of them showed lower than expected profits. Specifically Apple Amazon and alphabet faced the disappointing quarter with apple posting its largest cord.

Amazon said it is facing a reset after the pandemic boom in recent job Cuts in alphabet said it faced a pullback and advertising leading to lower sales.

5 million dollar penalty on the Telehealth and prescription drug service GoodRx Holdings for sharing users personal Health Data with third parties, including Google and Facebook without consent. Specifically the FTC claims that go to rocks is collected personal and health information from over 55 million consumers since 2017. Additionally, the FTC has said GoodRx deceptively promised not to share health information with third parties and use that info anyway for personalized advertising.

This announcement comes as more social media companies are doubling down on a short form content with YouTube releasing shorts for TV testing affiliate marketing and creating a new ad Revenue program to incentivize original content.
