Powering the Modern Cloud with VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0
On July 29, 2025 we debuted A Tech Field Day Virtual Event by Techstrong where we took a deep dive into VMware Cloud Foundation 9.0, the latest innovation in private cloud from Broadcom. In this Tech Field Day Showcase, Broadcom experts explored what’s new in VCF 9.0 and shared best practices for successful adoption and deployment. Topics will included cost management strategies, enhanced security features, storage innovations, and how VCF 9.0 delivers a unified platform for both virtual machines and containers (Kubernetes).

I'm really looking forward to the very first Tech Field Day virtual event by Techron where we're going to take a close look at the VMware Cloud Foundation nine release. We'll be live streaming this event. You'll be able to join us on July the 29th at 9:30 AM Eastern time.

We're gonna kick off with uh, Sabina Anya talking about what's new in, in VC F nine and that's really gonna give us an overview of all the things we're gonna dive into. We'll dive into some best practices for adopting and deploying VCF nine, or also take a look at VCF Auto, some of the cloud consumption experience, which is quite new in VCF nine.
Then we'll dive into VCF operations and take a look at some chargeback and some fleet management for those large numbers of servers that you have and you'll see some more integration of tools together into that fleet management in VCF operations. Our good friend, Mr. Bob Planker, will talk about being secure with VCF nine because of course security is always important to us.
And John Nicholson will take a look at what's new in the storage and storage performance and storage monitoring in VCF nine. Finally, our other good friend, so many of my friends are actually presenting on this is, uh, Katerina. Brookfield will be presenting, talking about the unified platform that VCF nine provides for both of your virtual machine and container based applications.
