Let me introduce you to my friend Neri golod. I'm Mary Golan CEO and co-founder of Cecilio. Yep.

Very one of the few people who actually lived down here near Boca Raton and it's a pleasure to have people who come in person and we can do this like this, but we really happy to have you here, but Mary before we jump in what we want to talk about with news. Let's talk give people if you can a little bit of your background and then really this video story. Yeah.

Absolutely. So Mary Golan, I'm a Serial entrepreneur. I've had a number of startups prior to this a few that were sold to large Automotive tier one and Tech startup.

Now we have so severe which is a predictive troubleshooting platform for kubernetes. We help large Enterprises and really and our Enterprise any Enterprise or any company solve problems in their Cloud environments at the earliest possible stages. So before something becomes a major crash we can help find the root cause and and let the devops teams or the developers solve those problems.

We got that out of the way Neri, let's talk. You guys have an announcement that you had come out. I don't want to steal the Thunder.

Why did you tell our audience? So we're announcing a collaboration with red hat. So this is a you know, big big news for us.

We've been working on this collaboration for quite some time. It really started when we realized that a lot of our early customers were open shift users. So they were deploying open shift as their form of kubernetes and you know openshift is great for deploying kubernetes and for using kubernetes in production, but it doesn't go as far as helping you with some of those day two problems.

You could say when things start to go wrong and it's very difficult to get to the bottom of it. A lot of the work is still done manually where you need to bring in professional service providers or have some in-house expertise to debug or troubleshoot problems. We help you take that next step.

So with socivio you can like I was saying earlier solve these problems. We put recommendations and actual insights in front of you as opposed to just Overloading you with data. So it's a natural collaboration with red hat.

They're very excited about it as well because their customers now can take that next leap into optimizing their kubernetes. Absolutely. And of course, you know, look our audience is fairly technical.

They already know this but openshift. I think it's still the most popular kubernetes platform out there and and, you know, see it's not only is it in terms of popularity but in terms of support, yeah, right. I don't care whether you're on Google or AWS or Microsoft.

Any of them they support. The open shift platform or if you're on your own platform even right you're rolling your own. Why do you think?

Well, this is an answer a question. I already know the answer to but why do you think red hat? Didn't have something internally like this.

It's interestingly. We get that question a lot about even some of the cloud providers and why they don't have a tool that goes this far I would say that there are some tools and some A high-level products that they put out to assist with some of the things we're doing but that observability and going even further than that, you know, we call it predictive troubleshooting getting really deep into the weeds of where these problems start from. It's a whole another can of worms.

So it's not a core Focus for a lot of these kubernetes Enterprise kubernetes providers. And so having a product that can really get into the weeds leverage AI machine learning to get to the bottom of these problems takes a lot of time effort resources expertise. And so it's you know, like any industry right?

Some of the smaller companies are able to build these products a little bit faster. Absolutely and you know quite frankly. Look I've been in technical a long time.

Sometimes the bigger companies, especially the the cloud platform providers. You know, they you can't be everything to everyone. You know, the old saying right jack of all trades master of none.

So a lot of times they're offerings will be 70% 75% of what you a real, you know offering that's custom for for that kind of problem will be and the same thing frankly for red hat for openshift. Right? It's it's a platform.

It's not meant to have every tool that goes to the umpteenth Edge. Yep, right, but it's the platform you can use other tools on it's also that kubernetes is still relatively new, you know, we're eight nine years now or that it's been out. It's constantly changing new versions are coming out.

It's also open source, you know, it's constantly being added on to so to be able to keep up with all those changes is something that you know, you want a more Nimble smaller company to be able to do and that's I think why there's there's a lot of observability tools out there that are able to adapt to the constant changing environment. Absolutely. Nearly, you know, so again our audience is familiar with red hat openshift, but let's talk about for people who maybe want to check out.

So Sylvia on on this openshift platform. How do you how do you go about doing that? So you can find us on Red Hats, uh, the operator Hub.

Sorry. We're also on their partner catalog so you can find us either place there. If you're not an open shift user and even if you are you can also always get the product off of our website direct from so we have an installer that you can download or if you would like support and getting and using the product even though it's a quick five minute install.

You can contact us directly through our website excellent now, Look, you can't throw a stick these days without running into AI. Yeah, right. Everybody's looking at AI this and AI that and you know what it's going to do and how it's going to disrupt.

When we look at like what you guys do pretty anytime you have predictive or predicted in kind of what you do people saying, oh is this AI is a machine ml is a machine learning. What's the story I I try and stay away. I mean I could tell everyone that we have the best AI models in the world.

But at the end of the day, I think the proof is in the pudding but what it really comes down to what I like to emphasize. It's not just the AI and the Machine learning or the models that you use the quality and the quantity of the data that you're able to use is really the most important part and our fundamental value proposition from a technology perspective is a data architecture that we call data swirling and it's essentially our way of analyzing massive amounts of data in real time on the customers environment. So it means that not only do we have great AI but we're looking at the right information.

We're not missing any pieces of the puzzle. We can see the entire chain of events play out which is what allows us to be predictive. There's a second benefit of that which is that we can work in completely disconnected environments so we can work with large Enterprises who are data or sorry security oriented or security or highly regulated.

So banks financial services, Telco Healthcare. Typically, they can't work with with any or a lot of the SAS tools that are out there. We can work on Prem hybrid Cloud.

It doesn't matter to us. Yeah. And that is and again what we were talking about before about why an individual Cloud platform because most times when they develop their Solutions, it only works on their platform.

So if you go multi-cloud or you go, you know multi-home, whatever you want to call it. It doesn't you you wind up with five different or four different solutions right doing the same thing on different platforms. And that's not a solution.

Yeah, and that's the trend today. A lot of especially large organizations are you know multi-cloud because they don't want to be tied down to one one provider. Yep.

Mentioned kubernetes before of course. We're getting ready. We'll be in Amsterdam and Two weeks or less right something like that.

Well Yeah about two weeks. You guys are going to be out there for this one or we will be there. Unfortunately, I'm not lucky enough to be to be there.

But some some of our best team members will be there. Well, you know what, we're streaming live there great. So let's make sure we get someone over there from Amsterdam.

Well, we'll interview him while we're there. What do you what do you think about kubecon though? Is is this gonna be I mean and I mean this and I don't mean it in the wrong way, but we met in Detroit at the last Cube contract.

And it was it was nice. It was good good event. It wasn't pre-covid kubecon, and I didn't feel the The buzz I didn't feel quite as much excitement.

I didn't feel. I know so I mean look giving what's going on in the tech industry. What's your what do you what's your outcome or your outlook for kubecon this year?

I have to run it through our predictive models. Yeah, right figure it out. But I I was actually encouraged that I agree with you at the last kubecon.

It wasn't as Buzzy but I was encouraged because specifically for us we saw a lot more of like the large Enterprises there which was which is our Target customer at least today. And so I'm hoping to see that Trend continue where more of the large Banks and financial services companies are out there looking for kubernetes Solutions and I'm hoping that the further you know, I think they made some changes from what I can see with covid policies. Yeah.

Hopefully we'll open it up a little bit more and we'll hope I mean from what I saw the event is almost sold out. I forgot what they captured at six or seven thousand which is about what Detroit yeah, so, I mean, I don't know. How big Then you will be I don't you know, we'll have to see because you know, frankly the world's changed a little bit since Detroit too.

Yeah, and it'll be interesting. I'm looking forward to it though. So it will definitely be out there.

What else is happening? It's a CVO that you can tell us about. We're working hard on on securing additional customer deals.

We've had a lot of interest recently some of our announcements and some of the the work that we've been doing has started to take notice or people are starting to take notice of it. So we're busy working with a lot of customers and while our product is very it can be used but we don't have to do a lot of customization for a large Enterprises what allows us to continue to do that. We are Focus has been on working with with these customers and getting more and more lockdown.
